Hello, fellow fun lovers! Can you believe it’s winter already? If you’re in the northeast, I don’t need to tell you that the winter season is just about here. BRRRRRR. Time for snowmen, hot chocolates and wool socks!
Unless you’ve decided to jet set to Hawaii or Puerto Rico, you’re likely preparing to deal with the cold, snow and ice for the next few months. Does that keep you inside, making sure your toes are warm and toasty by the fireplace?
Or do you live for this season, waxing up the skis and snowboards and heading out to the slopes? Maybe you’re lacing up the skates and hitting the local ice rink instead of the ski resort or watching the real thing at a National Hockey League game (who’s your team??). Or renting some snowmobiles and blasting off through the forests.
If you like to stay warm but still need to get out of the house, then take advantage of these months to check out your local art or history museums, symphonies or comedy clubs. You might them much less crowded than in the summer. You can stay warm in the winter and still find plenty of fun things to do!
If you do plan on packing your bags and hopping on a plane to somewhere sunny, then be sure to download the Fun Things app so you can research all the fun things in your travel spot before you go — and once you get there!
Whether you’ve been waiting for winter or are preparing to escape it, there’s always something fun to do wherever you are!
